With the book online, you cannot do any of those things. It stresses your eyes, calls for you to sit upright in the same pose for hour upon hour, and is quite hard to flip your way through. I also like audio books on CD, though.

After a few years of online publication reading, however, I was quite a bit more acclimated to the process, just like I had gotten used to audio books. I had already started to buy publications on-line for almost every purpose. I bought sports books on-line, text-books on-line - you think of it. Not only did the net let me buy printed publications inexpensively, but it also allowed me to access many items that were out-of-print.

Reading publications on-line is not truly that good for modern literature which you can buy in the store. You may as well either purchase it or borrow it from the library, or hear it, with books on cd. The awesome thing about books on-line, however, is that you may often find quite old ones with very little trouble. Resources such as Project Gutenberg enable you to get into the great classics of prose from all places and times around the globe. As long as it is no longer copy-protected, you can legally put the publication online.

Of course, the area where publications on-line have the maximum benefit of all is with audio books. The awesome thing about audio publications on-line is that it's so much more convenient than needing to borrow them from the library or turn to an audio publication store. Instead, you can just down-load them to your PC and listen to them at your leisure. If you want to bring them with you, you can place them on an mp3 player or put them onto Disc. Audio publications on-line make a lot of sense.
